How to Pay Your Rent

Edited

Paying your rent should be as hassle-free as possible. We offer multiple methods to make this essential task straightforward. Whether it's your first month's rent or a recurring payment, here's what you need to know:

First Month's Rent

Your initial rent payment is unique and is usually facilitated through the Goodlord platform. This secure and efficient system handles your first month's rent, ensuring a smooth start to your tenancy.

Recurring Payments

For ongoing rent payments, you have two main options:

  1. Bank Transfer:

    • Bank Name: NatWest

    • Account Number: 29809010

    • Sort Code: 50-00-00

    • Name: Property Genius

    • Reference: Please use the 'DGE' reference number found on your invoice. This helps us allocate the funds to your account correctly.

  2. PayProp Portal:

    • You can also make payments through our PayProp Portal, which offers a secure and convenient way to manage your rent payments online.

Important Notes

  • Reference Number: Always include the 'DGE' reference number when making a bank transfer. Failure to do so can lead to delays and complications in processing your payment.

  • Standing Orders: If you're new to renting or the UK rental market, we recommend setting up a standing order with your bank for timely payments.

  • Payment Allocation: If your property is managed by Property Genius, the rent will be received by us. If the property is managed directly by the landlord, the rent will go to them. You can find more details in your tenancy agreement on page 7, clause 3.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your rent payments are processed efficiently, keeping your tenancy in good standing.
