Reporting Maintenance Issues

Edited

We prioritise the comfort and safety of our tenants, which is why we've streamlined the process for reporting maintenance issues. We use an app / online portal from street.co.uk, a user-friendly platform designed to make reporting issues as straightforward as possible.

Step 1: Download the Street.co.uk app

Tenants should download the app from the respective app stores:

Once downloaded, sign in to your account using the same email address you have registered with us. If you're unsure of your password, us the 'forgot password' link to be sent an email inviting you to provide a new one, and then log in with that. Then, open the app, and click 'Report an issue' at the bottom', or the navigation button at the bottom of the app 'Maintenance'.

Step 2: Verify Current Issues

In the maintenance Section, you can see a view of all the issues reported, and their current status. Check first to see that the issue hasn't already been created. If the issue is new, go ahead and report it to us.

Step 3: Provide Details of Issues

You'll be guided through a series of questions depending on what the issue is. Please provide as much information as possible as this help us to diagnose issues far quicker, and prevents the need for us to reach out to try and get additional information.

Step 4: Stay Informed

You'll receive a notification that your job has been logged with us and we'll review. We'll keep you updated via email/SMS with updates, and please do use the app to see any changes in the jobs status.

Why use Street? The platform offers several advantages:

  1. Transparency: All parties can track the status of the issue, from the initial report to its resolution.

  2. Efficiency: Reporting online helps us to categorise and prioritise issues more effectively.

  3. Documentation: The portal keeps a record of all reported issues, which can be useful for both tenants and landlords.

By using Street, we aim to make the maintenance reporting process as transparent and efficient as possible, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
