What Happens After I Submit My Offer?

Submitting an offer is a significant step in securing your desired property, but what happens next? At Property Genius, we aim to make the process as transparent and straightforward as possible.

Once you've submitted your offer through our online form, it is forwarded to the landlord for consideration. The landlord will evaluate the offer based on a variety of factors, such as the advertised rent, proposed move-in date, occupancy requirements and affordability. They will also consider how well the offer aligns with their long-term investment goals.

You will be notified as soon as the landlord makes a decision regarding your offer. If your offer is accepted, the next steps in the rental process will be initiated, including the payment of the holding deposit and the commencement of the referencing process through the Goodlord platform.

If the landlord decides not to proceed with your offer, you will be informed promptly. We can explain the next steps and, where appropriate, help you identify other suitable properties. Offers above the advertised rent cannot be invited, encouraged or accepted.
